Shopify product pages that sell

The product page does most of the selling. Seven things we put on every one.

Your homepage gets the compliments, but your product pages do most of the selling. Shoppers often land on them straight from search or an ad, so each one needs to work on its own.

1. Photography that answers questions

Show the product in use, at scale, from every angle and in every variant. Add a short video where it helps. Good imagery answers the questions people would otherwise ask in a shop.

2. A title and price you can see without scrolling

Name, price, key variants and the add-to-cart button should all be visible on a phone without scrolling.

3. Benefits before specs

Lead with what the product does for the customer, then give the details in tidy, expandable sections for those who want them.

4. Proof close to the button

Reviews, ratings and user photos near the add-to-cart button reassure people at the moment they decide.

5. Clear delivery and returns

Uncertainty about delivery dates and returns is one of the most common reasons people abandon. Spell them out on the page.

6. Smart cross-sells

Bundles and "pairs well with" suggestions grow order value when they are genuinely useful, not when they clutter the page.

7. Speed

Heavy apps and oversized images slow product pages down. Audit your Shopify apps regularly and remove anything that does not earn its place.
